My Reading List

I decided to start this list in June 2024 and will update it continuously as I progress.

HTML and CSS: Design and Build Websites

Summary: This book was my gateway into the world of computer programming. It's effortless to follow, with code and images of what the code looks like, along with great explanations. It's the perfect starting point for anyone looking to learn programming and the fundamentals of web development. Thanks to this book, I can code the website you're browsing right now!

While this book doesn't cover JavaScript, which I've used on this site, it's an excellent foundation for aspiring full-stack web developers. I recommend beginning with this book, advancing to Jon Duckett's JavaScript & jQuery, and exploring his PHP & MySQL for a comprehensive learning path. You can purchase all three as a set here.
